The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 日本电影也许久没有这么好的故事了。人世真的是很难，有些真相是无法探求的，但偏偏又是我们最希望找寻的东西。对待别人，温柔比正确更重要，这个观点在很多日本电影中都有讨论，我们也要向他们学习。缺点就是松坂桃李，名字取得很好，但演技实在是稀松平常。
