The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 这是一部以女巫为题材但却是少儿不宜的电影。采用伪纪录片的近距离拍摄手法，刚开始看得头晕目眩，但适应之后，猜测导演是借女主的视觉，让女主亲身体验这个世界，“春有百花秋有月 ，夏有凉风冬有雪 ”，为人妻，为人夫，为人子，为人母，改变来自老女巫的偏见，让女主明白这个世界的美好。全片台词主要是女主的诗化语言独白，但又带有很多血腥镜头，所以可以归类为惊悚+文艺的类型片。
稳扎稳打讲了一个“特殊病例”故事，徐玄振把由强到弱、病中无硬汉的角色转变过渡的非常好。
散文影像，缓慢的节奏在不稳定的镜头下，显得迷离又诗意。重新学习，重新体验生命，它不寻常，它拥有我所着迷的关于巫术与永生的诅咒。
算是《钛》的复制品吧，几乎任何方面都很一样。

马力克风格的吸血鬼成长史。看不太懂但影像风格和大段独白是我的菜。
假装恐怖片的文艺片。血腥残忍的设定，随意杀人然后霸占别人的人生，缓慢沉闷的呓语旁白，想要讨论什么却也只是空洞，最后女人都生孩子的结局，绝了。
