The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 女鬼一个比一个漂亮，头发一个赛一个丝般顺滑，还会物理攻击，拂面爱抚…看得我想让老板和人事组给算算八字了。2022年，女鬼能抡起铁锤了，能一手提溜人还能一手爬墙胜过蜘蛛侠我也是看醉了，而且女高姐妹组容易跳楼死人回来复仇的优良传统依然能够发光发热，看得我秒回大学时期女高怪谈的青葱岁月。老梗基本表现平平，新番偶有亮眼时刻，个别篇章竟然戛然而止，实在是如镜中女人一般，太不自信了！
类似于乡野怪谈大集锦，故事没啥逻辑，但会搞的一惊一乍，各种老式套路去吓人，毫无新意。好在男女演员颜值都很高，表演不会出戏，能让人坚持看下去。

20211013#平遥国际电影展#如果说这部影片是柬埔寨青年导演对贾樟柯电影的再地化的话，那么可惜只有形式而无内容。除了主人公们执念于那个“白色大厦”以外，其他再无可说———
纯都市传说的恐怖故事集合。没啥逻辑的恐怖，也没什么主题和剧情，正如题目那样，都是一些传说中的恐怖小故事。好多妹子颜值都不错，拍的也挺精致，有惊吓无惊喜，也不失望。没事的时候可以看着玩玩。

隧道锤击女，霸凌遇红衣，铁线虫入侵，双生招魂记，隔墙异空间，衣柜藏变态，新丁配冥婚，怨念化鬼镜，人偶傀儡师，密室冚家铲。
人体模型、红衣女人、冥婚、密室逃脱还不错，恐怖桥段传统但有效
绝对算不上新颖，所有的桥段都见过，剧情也一般。但随便看看害挺开心，以及，塑料模特真是我的恐怖谷。
冲着贾科长来的，没想到是部外国片。看封面以为是讲三个人之间的友情，后来发现天差地别。能体会到男主的无助与压抑，想跟父母沟通却没有桥梁，年龄带来的差距让彼此之间隔着一道厚墙，心疼父母，想让他们好好珍惜身体却又迫于经济压力心有于而力不足。全片感受不到一丝快乐，以及其实我并未看懂影片所要表达的观点，只觉剧情跳脱。

所有短片都充斥着“手”这一元素，床边突然出现的手、洗头时头顶出现的手、手机屏幕里出现的手。
虽然都是些拼接复合肉有中国综艺的那种味，但是起码这种知道软件不行的，硬件的一项得挺起来啊，妹子都选的不错啊，奖励加一星
“二手家具”首个镜头女主和沙发靓丽的配色非常舒适。以及后面夜拍橙黄与蓝色系的打光很协调。躲去卫生间那里看到了《闪灵》的影子
有几个故事逻辑不通，有几个故事气氛很足，有几个故事挺好笑…嗯，然后，没了。
注定倾倒的白色大厦，所有梦境回廊也被夷为平地。
一个个小故事不会让人疲劳，最喜欢人体模特这个故事。整体而言，太过了，很多故事狗尾续貂了，加上了五毛特效恐怖感失去了很多。
很常见的现实题材艺术片手法，没有出彩的地方也没有明显缺陷，作为年轻导演拍得是可以的。
