The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 继承上一部death to 2020的风格，只有这种介于真真假假直接，荒诞的喜剧才能让人笑对又一操蛋的一年。

如果说2021学到了什么的话，就是没人从2020年学到什么。披着黑色幽默的外衣，看似是新闻联播脱口秀，内里又好像真实的回顾了一次美国视角的全球2021。“疫苗让大家尽可能回归正常的生活”真的不是疫苗宣传片吗。
还行，各种黑色幽默和反讽。不过亚洲也太惨了，这要不是奥运会和网飞的鱿鱼游戏火了可能东亚连出场机会都没有了……
