An intimate, mixed media documentary that follows Tig Notaro, a Los Angeles based comedian, who just days after being diagnosed with invasive stage II breast cancer changed the course of her career with a poignant stand-up set that became legendary overnight. This documentary explores Tig's extraordinary journey as her career ignites and as her life unfolds in grand and unexpected ways, all the while continuing to battle a life-threatening illness, falling in love and trying to have a baby all at the same time. This film is a hybrid of comedy and drama that captures a personal journey about facing crisis head on with honesty and grace and overcoming pain and suffering with the healing power of comedy. It's a story about moving forward during a period of your life when you don't know what is going to happen. 真的不太行！可能是剧版发糖太多了，导致电影版觉得腻了。电影的调色与配乐是两大败笔！强行增加冲突，强行聚在一起也让人觉得不够新颖。

几乎是全剧一镜到底真是看得比1917还过瘾，虽说没有什么大人物大事件，但鸡毛蒜皮的突发事件和那些完全没防备的依据吐槽骂街或者挖苦真的看得人头皮发麻，真实。
观赏性极佳，但可以想象中餐后厨应该更适合一镜到底

后续食之无味，以前对两位主角的颜值身材审美的十级滤镜莫名其妙少了八级。
每个人物出场观众便知他们身上埋着什么样的伏笔，没完没了的长镜头在糟糕的冲突设计面前只是进一步突出了电影本身的黔驴技穷而已。
很精彩的群戏调度，明明只有一个半小时，明明只有一个镜头，看到最后却觉得好像真的过去了大半夜，每个人都看起来过得那么累。让我很容易就代入了从前的工作记忆，拍得非常真实。
