The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 可看度比导演的前两部高，虽然依旧是沉溺于舞台剧的摆拍感，但哈姆雷特式的剧本确实也比较适合。不过怎说呢，假模假式是无法导向真正的意义的

可惜了，氛围感较前两部差不少。而且白天像权游，晚上像灯塔，又总有一种抽离感。
本片试图还原北欧的巫术与祭祀文化以打造本片的史诗感，但过度放大面孔的特写镜头与游戏CG式的打斗与战争场面却使本片显得廉价且失真

看过的第三部Robert Eggers的电影，也是最喜欢的一部。北欧版哈姆雷特，满是男人味的血腥暴力与野性，充满戏剧的张力
比科恩的好太多了，将古装片惊悚恐怖化，摄影和配乐以及一些设计都是我非常喜欢的类型。
6/10。制作是大制作，就是形式大于内容，故事有够老套，而且一度以为自己看的是“原始人”，而不是“北欧人”。
太有欧洲电影节的味儿了，摄影拉满，剧情简单但必须复刻莎翁。给高分主要是因为摄影太好了，如果导演能把逼格放下那该多好……
也不能说电影拍的不好看，就是不太喜欢，看了一点看不下去了
