The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 原著经典，台词有趣，老少皆宜，还带点思考的电影。情节有修改不过能说得通，小人的打光有些融不进去，后期一般。希望有一天能在大荧幕上看见莱克。
为了追忆童年来看的，道具布景确实满满的童年回忆，故事已经看不进去了，还是心已经老了
看完有感触的电影，特别是带9岁的女儿过来看，她在观看过程中抹了好几次眼泪，特别是鲁西西被误解的时候她感同身受特别有同理心，这样的影片还是比较有现实教育意义，它展示了教育的两方面诸多需要沟通和交流避免造成孩子的身心伤害的细节和事件，对教育者和家长有借签作用，建议家长和孩子一起看。
童年最喜欢郑渊洁的童话，能有机会还您电影票的机会真是很好。

从小看童话大王长大的，还用零花钱买过全集。第一次听说罐头小人居然拍成电影了必须捧场。郑亚旗出品，他可是我们小时候最羡慕的同龄人，因为可以在家由郑渊洁亲自教。老郑一直在批判分数决定一切的教育，这部电影赶上现在双减的形势十一上映，还真是来得早不如来得巧。电影前半段和原作几乎一模一样，后半段改动较大，还加入了魔方大厦的联动，估计要继续拍下去了吧！皮皮鲁最可爱，憨憨的，不过全被鲁西西抢了戏份。80年代的设定，小升初为了一分拼命的情节只有我们这代人经历过才懂。道具也就算了，校服设计太超前了，至少提前了三十多年吧。。。整部片子中规中矩，值得为情怀打卡。
最讽刺的是小女孩最后义正严辞说的那些大道理，这是郑渊洁作品里人物说的话吗？？？
教育法律医学，三大信息不对等造成的垄断，本剧里的教育演绎占在模板顶峰哇。
陪着外甥女看完此片，片中90年代的《自然》课本等，满满的是童年回忆。成年人看此片的理由，无非是寻找记忆中童年的影子，小学时每隔一段时间家人就从城里捎来《童话大王》儿童杂志，皮皮鲁与鲁西西、舒克与贝塔等，太好看了。片子拍得不错，拍出了原童话故事中的味道，推荐小学生们观看。
鲁西西好惨啊，凭什么，90年代唯成绩论的缩影
虽然人物还是比较脸谱化，但童年的故事能够变为影像还是值得购票支持的。另外，片子背后的道理确实说是给大人听的。
罐头小人是皮皮鲁和鲁西西系列里我最爱的故事！并且在原著基础上稍有改编，情节更紧凑，环环相扣适合作为电影来呈现。鲁西西为了保护小人儿放弃考试，上尉为了保护鲁西西选择跳下去的时候，我看到了爱是相互牺牲。不止成绩是评定小孩子的标准，希望每个小孩子都能勇敢，正直，懂得爱！还有我最爱的小孩，如果时间可以倒流，我想打你家的电话告诉你，不用当聪明宝宝，要当快乐宝宝😭
有种网大的感觉，工业水平确实粗制滥造了，但很多地方还是值得鼓励：小演员的表演很生动自然，一些微表情都很到位，整体保留了郑渊洁的气质，对应试教育提出了辛辣的讽刺和批判。然而今时不同往日，80年代的教育问题未必完全映射出今天的教育行业，但导演和郑老显然都对今天的校园知之甚少。儿童电影不好拍，从花絮和成片来看，我认为导演在技术上还是可圈可点的，但剧组确实肉眼可见的没钱也是真的……
愿意看的成年人，童年肯定看过郑渊洁的书，我就是其中那一个。毕竟是部儿童向的电影，还是蛮有趣的，尤其是那些大号道具，剧情来讲不算新鲜，但《童话大王》的确是个宝，里面还有很多等待挖掘的好故事。

非常欣慰能看到这个IP的影视化，但改编剧情和表演真的太低幼化了。片尾花絮小演员不管是业务能力还是敬业态度，要远超大部分流量。
可可爱爱当动画片看吧，小女主好可爱啊！满满的胶原蛋白的小脸蛋儿，超耐人！

小时候没看过原著，也不是郑渊洁粉丝，剧情对于大人来说满场bug，千疮百孔，但是小朋友看的很认真，很投入，他们开心就好
